Update to Change

Well, this happened much faster than I expected. I found out today that I got the position I applied for. I am very excited for this change. I am going to stay in my current job for a few weeks though to get someone trained on my job. My first day at the new/old position will be August 17th. I will definitely miss the people I work with now. Being in this department for 2 1/2 years I've gotten to know some people very well and even one in particular that hasn't been here that long but I will still miss very much. But we all need changes in our lives and this was a change I felt was very necessary for me.

Change

Well, I've decided to make a change at work. I have decided to try for a new position. Well, not exactly new. Let me explain. I am applying for a job in my old department that I worked in before doing my current position. I worked in my old department for a year and then came to this department for about 2 1/2 years. I really like my old boss and enjoyed working in that department so I have decided to try to go back. Please keep your fingers crossed for me to get the job!

Best Buds

I not too long ago posted pictures of the cats we just got. I want to make sure you all know that we got them separate from each other, they were never around each other before we got them and we have only had them for 2 months now. But they have become inseparable! They are the most loving cats I have ever seen. And now they are becoming that loving with each other. They play together, groom each other and sleep together. I came home from work yesterday and saw them in their chair together and couldn't resist taking a picture. Aren't they cute?!?!

Apartment

Well, as of today my roommate is officially moving out. On September first she will be moving one building over from our current apartment. I will be staying in my apartment. It's a random thing that neither of us expected and I will miss having my roommate and her cat Tigger. That's all I have on that for now.

Update

Well, things are still going well. Life has thrown me some curve balls, but I recovered and and went with the pitches. The kids are now back in Illinois with their mother. It was great having them here and it was sad to see them go. Now Michael and I must adjust our lives back to a routine of no kids. It's a big change and they are missed, but it is nice to get in to our normal every day routine. Last night was a perfect night. I went to Michael's after my pitching lessons and we were laying in bed reading and the cats were both laying on me, I had all three of my boys with me! It was so peaceful, I loved it! So all is well in that part of my life. The Xtreme softball season is over with for this year, we had our last games last week. The girls played awesome, even turned a couple double plays!!!! It was so rewarding to see how far they have come this year, they improved sooo much and have great sportsmanship, I am very proud of them and will miss those that will not be returning next year. Tryouts for next year are almost already here. I will be coaching a 12 & under team this year as well as Xtreme, but instead of playing with the 16's, Xtreme will stay down in the 14 & under league. So I will have my hands full with the two teams but am looking forward to it! I am still doing my pitching lessons and am enjoying my building. Although I'm looking forward to it not being so hot in there (no air conditioning). It looks as if my roommate will probably be moving out soon. That's kinda a long story. We're not fighting or anything and it's not because we didn't like living together, it's just because of circumstances. She's just moving one building over, so we'll still be neighbors. I'll update you all later when I know for sure what's going on with my apartment. So, that's about all that is new with me.

And It Continues

Things are still going good. We won both of our games last week, that was awesome. The girls have worked so hard and I've had a blast coaching them this year. Tryouts are all set for next year and I've talked to quite a few girls that are interested so that is cool! Things are going GREAT with Michael. The girls are in town for their summer visit and it has been really good seeing them. We went to the zoo Sunday, that was fun but wore me out! Last night Tay helped me pick out some new fish, I might take a picture of the fish tank and post it on here. I got two sharks named Suicide and Cutter (they jumped out of the net on to the floor, this happened a couple times, that's where the suicide stuff came in). Then the two "sucker fish" as Taylor called them are called Jolly and Rancher. The cat fish are Catnip and Meow. And the dragon fish is George Jr (named after the deceased George). They are cool and seem very active. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, we'll be sure to see some fireworks so that will be cool. I think the only thing I have to complain about is that I'm sick, yuck! I've had a stupid sore throat for almost 2 weeks now. But that will get better soon, I just have to be good about taking meds. Well, that's about it for my update. Happy 4th of July!!!
