Xtreme!

We had our first unofficial practice last night. Not all the girls can practice yet due to playing for their high schools, but we had practice with some of the girls that are able to practice. It was so nice to get the girls out there and give them a good workout. They worked their butts off!! I'm really excited to see what this next year brings, I think we're going to kick some butt!

Time goes by way too fast!

Seriously, the weeks are just flying by lately!!! I was so used to my days dragging at work during the week that weeks would sometimes feel like months. Well with the new job keeping me so busy during the days it goes by much, much faster. So before I know it, the weekend is here! I'm not complaining about that at all. I like that the week days go by fast. And I've been getting up early on the weekends and that helps make the weekend seem longer, plus I use to start dreading Monday by Saturday morning and would waste my weekend being upset about going back to work. Now I can relax on the weekends knowing I'll have a good Monday morning. I've had lots of events and appointments on the weekends, but that's been fun. And my pitching lessons are picking back up and will soon be in full swing. I've picked up some new pitchers, so that's always good. I now have students from various parts of Nebraska and Iowa now, so that's expanding. The younger team I'm helping coach has been practicing for two weeks now and we have a scrimmage tournament coming up in a couple weeks. And I'm starting practice this week with my older girls, so that's exciting too. Nothing like jumping straight in to the deep end!!! I'm definitely going to be busy in the upcoming months!!! Oh, and I can't forget to mention that living with Michael has been awesome!!!!!!
