Been a while

I've been really bad about writing, oops! Let's see, what has happened... Well, actually not a whole lot. I'm now coaching two softball teams. I have the 14 & under team that we're starting u this year and I'm assistant coaching for a 12 & under team also. So, I will definitely be busy. I'm keeping busy with pitching lessons too. I've been looking at apartments. Found some I'm interested in. Now I need to find out for sure if I'm going to have a roommate or not. I plan on being out of my dad's no later than February. I'm trying to get a new position at work. There is all kinds of drama involved in that, but I really don't feel it's appropriate to discuss that on here. Other than that, nothing too exciting has gone on. Oh, I have started hanging out with some friends from high school. Thanks to myspace, I'm back in contact with some people I haven't talked to since graduation. That's been nice. Plus Adam has come around and is talking to me again. We went car shopping and he picked out a car the color of my hair. I had to take my car into the shop this morning, dang service engine soon light came on. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Ok, now I think I've said everything. I'll stop babbling.

From Dull to Awesome

Friday night I played in my softball game (which we won by 15 runs!). Then we went out with the team and had a little to eat. Michael was taking me back to my dad's to drop me off and for some odd reason, I suggest "let's go to St Louis." I had absolutely nothing planned for the weekend. It was going to be a boring weekend, so what the hell?! There was conversation leading up to this and Michael recently moved from there, so it wasn't as spontaneous of a statement as it may sound. Surprisingly, he says "ok, let's go." So, I run into my dad's, packed up a bag, then we stopped at Michael's place and he grabbed some clothes and at 11:45 pm friday night, we were on the road. We drove all night and got there around 6:30 am. We had an absolute blast all weekend. I did get completely drunk saturday night. At one point that night, we were playing darts and I said "there is no way I can hit anything on this board." Umm... the dart landed about 3 ft short of the board. Oop! But then I turned around and hit a bull's eye. We saw the new Busch Stadium and walked around down town. Got to see some of Michael's friends. It was a blast. We came back sunday night (tonight). It was so nice just to get away and relax for a weekend. So, next time you get a sudden urge just to take off for a weekend, I say go for it!

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.
