Ready Or Not, It Has Begun

My girls had their first tournament last weekend. They took everyone by suprise (even themselves) and we got 2nd place. It was a fun weekend. I will be posting pictures soon. Because of a deal made with the girls, Scott and Michael wore purple and yellow wigs on Monday, looked like mullets! Too bad I didn't get a picture of that! Although, I should be nice, I'm sure this one is going to come back to haunt me. Although, my car was t.p.'ed at the sleepover. Monday night started League play for the girls, we played the other two Shockers teams and we tied them both! I hate ending in a tie! Slow pitch season started Sunday night. I of course let one go between my legs. It's so much easier to tell the girls what to do, I'm getting too old to play for myself. I am excited for our Friday night slow pitch game this week. We have new people this year, should be a fun year. I just have to get through this week and next week (Finals!) and then summer break will officially be here for me. Yay!!!!

Tomboys with a creative side

A couple weeks ago I had a sleepover with the girls I coach. A couple girls made pictures on my computer.

Amy did this one, it took a LONG time

The girls said the person in the picture is a big fan. I was hoping our team would be good enough to attract a better crowd.

Who Knew...

So, I started on this de-cluttering my life thing. Starting with cleaning the room. At first, I was utterly surprised to find out I have blue carpet. It's been so long since I've seen it that I had forgotten. Then, an even bigger shock. I found a check for $25 (yes, written out to me!). Wow, I never thought cleaning my room would really pay off.

Roll me out to the car

I hope everyone had a good Easter. I had a very nice day. By the end of the day I was so full, it felt like it was Thanksgiving. I had a full day, went to church, then to Scott's parents' house, then my dad's and lastly my mom's. Lots of good food and great company. I wouldn't have changed any of it. Except now I'll have to workout every day for a week to work off all that food!

Monkeys are taking over the world!

This is the first thing I see when I get to my desk at work. I think it's funny, so I thought I'd share.

The first is always the toughest

Now that I finally started this thing, what do I begin to write about? Hmmm.... well, I am beginning to make some big changes in my life. Things have been a crazy mess for the last couple months and it's time to straighten things out. First step, de-clutter my living space. I've noticed that when my room is a disaster, my life seems to follow suit. If I manage to keep things orderly at home, I seem to do better with all my decisions. It's funny how that works. Next step, find time to actually follow through with step 1. Now that's a tough one.
