Life Is Good

Haven't had much time to write lately. Been keeping farely busy. Nothing exceptional to write about or anything, just keeping myself occuppied a lot lately. I'm known as the flower lady at work nowadays (not getting in to details). I am applying for a couple different positions here at work. Hopefully I'll get what I want there. If so, I will definitely not be staying at my dad's much longer. I have been talking with a friend about possibly getting a place together. That would be better than trying to get a place on my own. I've spent some time at my mom's this week going through stuff I have stored in my old closets (got to see my kitty Cleo too, she's so damn cute!). I've found some entertaining reads in my closet from way back when and some old pictures. Lots and lots of horrible clothes, what was I thinking when I bought those things!! I have bought some new clothes recently. I finally have clothes that fit me (I lost weight when I got sick and all my work pants were super baggy). I love wearing new clothes. I was thinking, maybe I should get a variety of trashy clothes and have someone film me in them. Then submit it to one of the make-over shows so I can get a whole new wardrobe. That would be awesome! Anyways, I don't have anything else to talk about. I've been loving life and trying to have fun every chance I can get. Life's good when you have no complaints!

Easily Amused

I'm sitting here, trying to concentrate, and I get an image in my head. Let me back up a little and give you some background. Earlier this week my dad was near Arlington and hit a deer. He wrecked his Explorer and had to leave it out there. It is currently being fixed. So, I am letting my dad borrow my car today to get to and from work. Now, incase you didn't know, I drive a Ford Escort ZX2. I just found it amusing to visualize my 6', long legged father sitting in the driver seat of my car. I didn't actually get to see him drive off in it, so I don't have an exact image, but I still just got a chuckle thinking about it. Just thought I'd share. :o) Oh, and Michael, if you read this, you're not getting the 4 Runner back!

Jeni has been a temp at my work. Today is her last day working with us. Next week she will be going back to Las Vegas. She's definitely made work more fun and interesting. I'm glad we met. We're going to miss her!!! Anyways, just wanted to post a picture of her and post my good bye. Bye Jeni! Study hard, party harder and don't forget about lil ol me! Yay for turtles, go Fred!

Cleo

I meant to post this over the weekend, but just haven't had the time. I had given up my kitty Cleo to Scott when we broke up. But since he goes out of town so often, I decided she would be better off with me instead of being alone all the time. I have to keep her at my mom's for right now since I'm staying at my dad's (who has a dog). I stayed the night at my mom's on Saturday (the day I picked up Cleo). It was nice having her snuggle up next to me all night. I have definitely missed her. I will be posting a picture of her soon, I've been having issues getting one to upload on this site.
