Visit

I am a week late posting this, but better late than never! We had a wonderful visit with the girls last weekend (a week ago). Because of Veteran's Day the girls stayed an extra day with us. They flew in friday night and we stayed up til about 12:30 talking with them, both those girls have sooo much to say! It's neat. Saturday we did a little birthday thing for McKenna. My mom came over and McKenna opened up her presents. We had her in a cute dress and she looked adorable! Then we met Jenelle and Alisa at the Amazing Pizza Machine. Alisa's birthday is in early December, so McKenna gave Alisa her birthday present early. I had never been there before, it was huge and a wide variety of games. Michael and McKenna won their race on the go-carts and got a trophy. My mom and Taylor went at it during their race, it was hilarious! Taylor wiped out my mom big time. Then Taylor whooped up on Michael in Dance Revolution. I don't know how she does that! I got a good video clip of Michael doing that though, I might post that later. After we left there we went home and Taylor made us dinner, it was very yummy. Then I went out and did some errands and let Michael and Taylor watch a scary movie (McKenna crashed by 6:30 that night!). I was able to spoil the kids a little and bought them some shoes. Taylor got a really cute pair that I wish I was young enough to wear. They looked good on her. Then Sunday I had my pitching lessons for 6 hours. Michael took the girls bowling and to the mall. Then I took Monday off from work. We had Old Chicago for lunch and hung out at the zoo until it was time to go to the airport. It was so sad to see the girls leave, but it was definitely a great weekend! I think Taylor even had a good time, it's nice to see her smiling and laughing a lot again. And next time they are here, it's Christmas! Man does time fly!!!
