Update

Well, things are still going well. Life has thrown me some curve balls, but I recovered and and went with the pitches. The kids are now back in Illinois with their mother. It was great having them here and it was sad to see them go. Now Michael and I must adjust our lives back to a routine of no kids. It's a big change and they are missed, but it is nice to get in to our normal every day routine. Last night was a perfect night. I went to Michael's after my pitching lessons and we were laying in bed reading and the cats were both laying on me, I had all three of my boys with me! It was so peaceful, I loved it! So all is well in that part of my life. The Xtreme softball season is over with for this year, we had our last games last week. The girls played awesome, even turned a couple double plays!!!! It was so rewarding to see how far they have come this year, they improved sooo much and have great sportsmanship, I am very proud of them and will miss those that will not be returning next year. Tryouts for next year are almost already here. I will be coaching a 12 & under team this year as well as Xtreme, but instead of playing with the 16's, Xtreme will stay down in the 14 & under league. So I will have my hands full with the two teams but am looking forward to it! I am still doing my pitching lessons and am enjoying my building. Although I'm looking forward to it not being so hot in there (no air conditioning). It looks as if my roommate will probably be moving out soon. That's kinda a long story. We're not fighting or anything and it's not because we didn't like living together, it's just because of circumstances. She's just moving one building over, so we'll still be neighbors. I'll update you all later when I know for sure what's going on with my apartment. So, that's about all that is new with me.

I agree! It was overall, a very nice visit. But I am glad that we can get back in to our routine. After time, it will all transition to a routine.

I am sad the season is done only for one reason; GREAT GROUP OF KIDS!!!! Those young ladies should be very proud of their determination and progress. They all worked hard and held their heads high. I look forward to next season as well as all the events next year will bring!
